For my senior project, I undertook the creation of a comprehensive multi-media branding package to promote my personal music and establish my artist brand as Phe. The project primarily focused on the artistic medium of film, allowing me to showcase my skills as a director and cinematographer. As part of this project, I wrote, recorded, and co-produced an original song that featured prominently within the branding package.

The central element of the project involved the production of a visually captivating and emotionally evocative music video. Utilizing the resources available at SCAD DMC, I employed my expertise in lighting, camera setup, and creative direction to bring the artistic vision to life. Through careful consideration of lighting techniques, I created a mood and atmosphere that enhanced the storytelling and amplified the emotional impact of the song.

The camera setup was meticulously planned and executed to capture compelling visuals, dynamic movements, and engaging compositions. I utilized a range of camera techniques, such as tracking shots, close-ups, and wide-angle shots, to convey the narrative and evoke the desired emotional response from the audience. The camera movements and angles were carefully choreographed to enhance the storytelling and create a visually captivating experience.

Creative direction played a pivotal role in shaping the overall aesthetic and tone of the music video. From conceptualizing the visual narrative to selecting the locations and props, I brought a unique artistic vision to every aspect of the production. The creative direction ensured that the music video aligned seamlessly with the themes and emotions conveyed in the song, creating a cohesive and impactful visual representation of the artist's brand.
